Oh, man...some parts of Minnesota will be 30 degrees below zero tonight. No, not here...up north.
Here in the Northland heartland, it should be around 5 below...a veritable sauna.
BTW, most of us don't have a second fridge in the garage...we just cover leftovers and 'put em on the bench' in the garage. The food's frozen stiff by morning, but occasionally forgotten til spring.....don't worry, it astilbe good in June. (Really, I'm sorry, I just couldn't help myself! LOL)
(Hey, sometime when you come in from shoveling snow, try mashed potatoes for supper. A little butter and cheddar cheese, a few chopped onions and a little fresh ground pepper...mmmm-mm! Wonderful!)
Right: on to more pertinent subjects...ahem....last year, one of our brides was a tall gregarious plump woman in her 30's, and she wanted a bouquet as stunning as she was. Something large and gardeny, something with movement and puzzazz--so we suggested red roses and hot pink astilbe.
The bouquet was a cascade, almost 30" across, and spectacular! I used the astilbe like rays all the way around and through the roses, with dark pink wax-flower here and there for variety. Ooooo, I loved that bouquet, and so did she. It was a WOW, no doubt about it.
(OK, I can feel your curiosity from here. A picture'll help, right?)
