Sr.Violanza's answer

Yes, I know you're wondering about the amount of snow we got this week.
There are questions you NEED answered, doubts in your mind, worry-wrinkles forming on your forehead.....

I KNOW all that, and I intend to put you off for a bit to build your sense of anticipation. You must realize that instant gratification is way over-rated, hm? According to Sr. Violanza (my 7th grade teacher), waiting for an answer builds character.
She really believed in "looking it up", you know.
(Sr. V was the nun who played softball with us and ran the bases with her arm firmly clamped under her bust...I'd never thought about nuns' 'endowments' before that...did they, er..didn't they wear bras?!)

Yes, I tried looking it up, believe me.

You know how nuns all blend together after 12 years? It might have been Sr.Willabauld who thought red faces were healthy faces (I'm sure it wasn't Sr.Octavia Correction: I'm SURE it wasn't Sr. Hildegard...tee-hee!)...so we had to go outside and RUN around, no matter that it was every BIT as cold as it was today. Actually, the radio weather report tonight said this is the coldest it's been in Minnesota in eight years. The local pond is open for skating after five winters of not having thick enough ice....

Here, I looked this up....let them tell it:

Hazardous Weather OutlookWind Chill Advisory

Tonight: Clear, with a low near -20. Wind chill values between -32 and -37. West northwest wind between 8 and 10 mph.

Friday: Sunny and cold, with a high around -7. Wind chill values between -27 and -37. West wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Friday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around -22. Wind chill values between -29 and -38. West wind between 7 and 9 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny and cold, with a high around -2. Wind chill values between -31 and -41.

Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around -19.Sunday: Partly cloudy and cold, with a high near -4.

But Sunday ought to be above zero. In Minnesota, that's GOOD.
Oh, and by the way, we got 9" of snow yesterday.

You're welcome!
lol...lol...lol...lol!

Well, it sure as hell wasn't Sr. Hildegarde who thought red faces were healthy faces. She, as we all know, thought red faces meant someone was thinking dirty thoughts. Despite the face that it was a late spring afternoon and there 40 kids packed into a west facing room. Noooo - it could only be one thing - dirty thoughts.

On the weather front: winter weather just gives Minnesotans something to bish about. And talk about in the first place for the conversationally challenged.

On the son's wedding front: those aren't exactly the most form-fitting bridesmaids dresses I've ever seen. Are they planning to take a little tunk in there somewhere? But what a nice backie the dauther has.

    Love - P. Tits

PS - I've noticed you're slipping up on the lol bit. Wouldn't "tee-hee" work just as well.
